Menorca Gold: Luxury Holiday Villas and Apartments in Menorca.
Please read carefully
1. All bookings are made with Menorca Gold Ltd, acting as administration agent on behalf of the property owner. Your signature on the booking form will be taken as acceptance of the following conditions.
2. Every care is taken that all information in the brochure and on the website is as accurate as possible. However, facilities may be changed or withdrawn for reasons beyond our control in which case we cannot accept any responsibility. Menorca Gold cannot accept any liability for loss, injury or damage arising from clients use of the property accommodation and amenities.
3. The period of rental is from 3.00pm on the day of arrival until 10.00am on the day of departure. The receipt of your signed booking form and 25% deposit (non refundable) confirms your holiday booking.
4. All bookings are subject to a £30 administration charge, which helps us to cover our running costs. The balance of the total cost of the holiday must be paid for in full at least eight weeks prior to departure, otherwise we reserve the right to cancel your booking. Once final payment is received, this becomes non refundable on cancellation. Please note, if payment is made in Euros, there is a £10 charge. We ask that wherever possible, payment is made in sterling.
5. We reserve the right to make any reasonable variations in accommodation as may be necessary at our discretion, due to circumstances beyond our control, including industrial action etc. If it becomes necessary to change accommodation, an alternative will be provided of equal standing according to property available to us at time change is made. If no suitable alternative is available, a full refund of all rental monies will be made. This does not however, allow for any further compensation regarding flights, insurance, etc, for which we cannot accept responsibility.
6. Should you have any complaints regarding our service, please inform us in writing within 7 days of your return. Menorca Gold undertake to investigate fully any complaints with the property owner and local management company but cannot accept any liability arising from such a claim.
7. We guarantee that there will be no price increases or surcharges applied to your chosen property, unless there are changes to VAT (IVA) rates by the government.
8. The booking only relates to the amount of people indicated on the booking form. Additional people will not be allowed to stay in the property without written prior notification. Reasonable access must be granted to the local management company to visit the property if needed.
9. Building work and the resulting noise from sites adjacent to any properties featured within our brochure may occur at any time during the season. Many resorts are continuing their development and at times local works may be taking place or may be planned. As you will appreciate building works are often carried out by third parties over whom we have no control. Furthermore they are frequently intermittent and we may only become aware that they are taking place when they actually commence or re-commence on any particular project. Unless building works are being carried out by our own suppliers or sub-contractors, we regret that we cannot pay any compensation, or otherwise accept liability. Where such building works occur during your holiday, and may sufficiently affect your enjoyment of it, we will endeavour to offer you alternative accommodation with you paying or receiving a refund in respect of price difference. Obviously during high season you will appreciate that suitable alternative accommodation may not easily be available, and should no option be found again we regret that we cannot accept liability for this.
