How do I pay and when will the balance be due?
Payment is by cheque to Menorca Gold Ltd. The property booked will be held for 7 days while cheques and booking forms are returned to our office. Your confirmation will be sent by return. The balance is due 8 weeks before your departure. Please allow 14 days to receive your final instructions from receipt of balance payment.
Are linen and towels provided in the property?
All bedroom linen, bath and hand towels are provided. You are asked to bring your own towels for use by the pool and on the beach.
What is in the welcome pack?
Three types of welcome pack are available which must be booked at least 3 weeks in advance. Full contents are listed in the booking pack and on the online booking form (click on the red question mark next to Food Packs). The packs will give you the basic essentials to get your holiday underway until you can stock up. For your convenience we would recommend a welcome pack if you are arriving late in the evening.
Is maid service included in the price?
You will have an interim clean and linen change if you are staying for 10 nights or longer. Any additional maid service can be booked and paid for in the UK and must be booked at least 2 weeks prior to your departure.
Where do I pick up my keys?
Details regarding your key collection will be sent in your final instructions once payment is received.
If satellite TV is in the villa or apartment, what channels will I receive?
The channels will be local to the country. Limited English channels are available. Please do not expect to receive the channels you would on an English satellite TV.
What TV channels will I receive if I book a combi TV/video as an extra?
Antenna will be provided and in good reception areas local Spanish channels are received. In poor reception areas, the set can be used for video usage only.
Equipment in the properties
All properties contain an iron, ironing board, electric kettle and toaster. Most have washing machines. If in any doubt, please check with us before you depart regarding the equipment in your chosen property.
Air-conditioning/heating
When a property is equipped with air conditioning, this will be mentioned in the details. For early or late holidays, heaters can be provided on request, which we recommend as the nights can still be chilly.
Can we go to the villa before 3pm on arrival day?
Usually this is not possible, especially in peak season as the maids will need to clean your property once the previous clients have left. If you have special requirements though, please contact us and we will do our best to help. Luggage may be left at the Realcare office in Mahon both on arrival and departure days if required.
Can we stay in the villa after the 10am vacating time?
Not normally but if you have very special requirements for needing to stay after 10am, please ask our management company on the island at least 2 days prior to your departure. They may be able to help in certain exceptional cases.
Can I book equipment for children?
We offer cots, highchairs and pushchairs in our luxury villas and apartments. All must be pre-booked and paid for in full in the UK. They will be in your property on arrival.
What happens if we have an emergency in the villa or apartment?
Our English-speaking management company provides 24-hour telephone numbers for any EMERGENCY situation. Please do not use this number out of hours unless it is a genuine
