Their number is listed clearly in the Information Book in the property. If you have a general query, please contact us at Menorca Gold.

15. A note about pools

Care should be taken with young children who should be watched by an adult at all times. It is likely that you will see a pool cleaner or gardener during your stay. They will do their job quickly with as little disturbance as possible. Please note that none of the pools are heated.

16. Security

Please lock up your property securely during your stay, closing and locking all shutters when you go out. Do not leave valuables clearly visible. In the unlikely event you experience a break-in please contact Menorca Gold Ltd, you will need to report a break in at the corresponding police station in person and sign a report.

17. Water Supply

Water shortages and pressure reductions may occur without notice on the island. We recommend that you use bottled water for drinking and ice cubes. Tap water is drinkable but contains a high level of limescale.

18. Insects and Pests

Mosquitos and ants thrive in hot climates and Menorca is no different! There are plenty of mosquito repellents, coils and sprays available that you can buy to protect adults and children from bites. If you do suffer from mosquito bites do not scratch the bite and it will calm down after 5 -10 minutes. A common aid is a dash of vinegar on a bite which helps stop the itching. Closing the windows and doors of the property wherever possible at night when the sun goes down will help keep them out.

Ants like food, so it is best not to leave any food out or crumbs on work surfaces or floors, or unwashed crockery in the sink. Always store fresh food in the fridge and others foods in the cupboards to avoid attracting their attention. There are ant sprays that you can buy to keep ants at bay, Zum Hormigas seems to work well.

19. On your departure day.

Please ensure that the property is closed up securely. As the maids have a limited changeover time we would request that it is left in a tidy manner, and that any rubbish is taken to your nearest collection bin. If you have used the barbecue please ensure it is left clean for the next client. Please leave the key in the location you found it.

20. Can we stay in the villa after the 10 am vacating time?

Not normally, but in some rare circumstances it may be a possibility. You may check with us 2 days prior to your departure. There is a charge payable at the time if the option becomes available.

21. Do you offer Transfer Services?

Not directly, but you can find transfer services from the Airport to your accommodation here.

And finally…

Please take very good care of the property, its furnishing and equipment, thank you.

We really hope you enjoy your stay and your booking experience with Menorca Gold.
