Christmas is a special time for everyone but in Menorca their really special day is 6th Janaury when they celebrate 3 Kings and all round the island Kings arrive and travel round the towns in decorated floats and throw sweets to the children. In Mahon the Kings arrive in style by boat by the ferry terminal and ride in style on horse back around the town. The following day the Kings and theri servants deliver presents to the local children amidst much celebration.
