Hi All
Gemma has asked me to write some ‘blog’ for the website – well call me old fashioned but I’ve never heard of ‘blog’ and as good old Terry Wogan would say “……is it me?” Still I suppose we all need to move with the times and so I thought I’d tell you all about my recent trip to the wonderful island of Menorca in ‘blog’ speak.
I saw 22 properties all in all and got to meet quite a few owners during my stay which was great, a nice coffee here and a glass of wine there – the hospitality was very much appreciated. I saw a wonderful variety of villas and apartments from rambling, antique filled gorgeous farmhouses to a state of the art new villa that just took your breath away.
I must say a big thank you to owner of A009 where my trustee co-pilot, Karen and I camped out for the week as we had a wonderful time in the apartment and it was a haven at the end of a busy day and I got the chance to thrash Kaz at trivial pursuit (ha! ha!) as the owner had put some books, games and cards into the property. Then this thoughtful owner had put all the free DVD's collected from Sunday papers and magazines into the property so we sat and cried over Little Lord Fauntleroy, and laughed at the episodes of Michael Palin - good idea - if you have a DVD player, put those free DVD's in - you'd be amazed how some people do just want a respite from the heat.
Gemma and I are pushing for a great 2008 with a new website which I think you will find is fresh and exciting.
